Admission Procedure
Submit Application. Complete the application form and submit it along with the enrollment, application and evaluation fee of $100.
Submit Resume. Submit a formal, complete and professional resume’ describing all career experience and positions held. Include any formal or informal training that was related to your employment.
Submit Transfer Credits. If you expect to transfer credit from other institutions or higher education request a complete, official transcript from each institution to be sent to: New Life International Biblical University, PO Box 784, Sikeston, MO 63801
Upon receipt of the information above, the Admissions office will make an evaluation of your application and notify you in writing of your standing. This evaluation will indicate credits allowed by “Life Experience” and by transfer. You will be provided with a “Proposed Course of Study” and a Financial Agreement form. You are not officially enrolled until you indicate acceptance and return the agreement along with the first tuition payment. 30%-40% of your total tuition will be paid before you can begin classes. The remainder of your tuition payments are contingent upon credit worthiness. You will be notified in writing of a payment plan. If payments cease or your tuition is not paid in full by the due dates, you will be dismissed from our university without refunds. After our office receives this information/payment you will be assigned a Student ID and you will begin your courses.
Admission Requirements
For admission to a degree program, applicants will be required to meet the following:
Undergraduate Programs – A copy of the High School Diploma or GED.
Graduate Programs – A copy of the Bachelor Degree certificate and a certified copy of the applicant’s transcript(s).
Post Graduate Programs – Copies of previous Degree, Certificates and certified copies of the transcripts.
Grading
Excellent 92-100 =A 4 grade points
Exceptional 84-91 =B 3 grade points
Average 76-83 =C 2 grade points
Unsatisfactory 68-75 =D 1 grade point
Fail 0-67 =F 0 grade points
Academic Probation
A student may be placed on academic probation for one full semester if one of the following occurs:
Failure to turn in course work for one full semester.
Late payments for tuition.
Failure to pay tuition for one full semester.
If grade point average drops below 2.0.
After a student has been on academic probation for one full semester, he/she will be given an inactive status. The student must re-apply by submitting a new application and pay the charges pending.
Refusal to pay tuition will result in dismissal from the university and no refunds will be given.
Christian Standards
NLIBU expects all members of its community to live with wholesome Christian character and standards. Flagrant disregard for such standards is proper concern of both students and faculty.
